The Current Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, PhD, popularly known as Dan Amana, has won the 2023 governorship election because of his resilient, dedication and unwavering commitment for an all-inclusive governance and patriotism to nation building.

He is a visionary and exemplary leader who is committed to leaving an indelible legacy for the people of Katsina state and for his future political career and posterity.

However, Radda’s quest for better and secured Katsina is invariably having some bottlenecks militating against his government because he doesn’t have cabinet members who are committed to fostering inclusive governance as enshrined in his vision.

Most of his appointees are apparently thinking on how to syphon funds in order to wheel the oil of their political and personal interests. Therefore, their mindsets centred on how and where to get it.

Some of them are best described by the political and public pundits as arrogants: behaving like we are in an authoritarian government devoid of democratic setting.
Meanwhile, the governor opened and expanded the government, with new offices and appointments but with little resources on how to operate them, hence the dubious attitude of some of his appointees.

Although Radda’s deputy, Secretary to the State Government, his chief of staff, and the current and former Head of service, and few commissioners are advocates of better Katsina. Some of his appointees don’t even know how to handle public office.
I am talking from experience,  I witnessed  the late  Umaru Musa Yar’Adua’s government, Ibrahim Shema and Masari.. I have the background of what I am talking about. Thanks.
